Terms of sale
These are the terms you buy on from KCX Sri Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, trading as Drivehouse. Placing an order means you accept them.

Who we are
We are the exclusive Koch-Chemie agent for Sri Lanka and import direct from Unna, Germany. Every bottle we sell is traceable back through us to the consignment it arrived in.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Sri Lankan rupees. One price for everyone - there are no trade tiers and no negotiated discounts.
Payment is taken before dispatch, or in cash at the counter when you collect. We do not offer credit terms to anyone, at any tier.
An order is a request until we confirm it. If something is mispriced or out of stock we will tell you and cancel it rather than quietly substitute or short-ship.
Pre-orders
Most of the catalogue is on pre-order against a container that has not landed yet. A pre-order holds your place in the queue for that shipment. The arrival window is stated on the site and we update it when it moves - we would rather tell you it has slipped than let a date quietly pass.
You pay for a pre-order when the goods land and are ready for you, not when you reserve them.
If a shipment is delayed beyond what you are willing to wait, tell us before it lands and we will release your place with nothing owed.
Corrosive and flammable goods
Some products are classified corrosive or flammable. No courier in Sri Lanka will carry them, so they are collection only from Colombo 07. Their product pages say so, and the checkout will refuse a courier order containing one.
Read the safety data sheet before first use. We link the sheet we hold on every product page.
Using the chemistry
These are professional products. Dilution ratios, surfaces to avoid and handling precautions come from Koch-Chemie, and we publish a figure only once we have checked it against their sheet.
We are not responsible for damage caused by using a product against the maker instructions, on a surface its sheet warns against, or at a dilution other than the one specified.
This site
We try to keep every figure on this site true and we correct what we find. If something here contradicts the maker safety data sheet, the sheet is right and we want to hear about it.
