How do I use Top Star?
From Koch-Chemie's technical data sheet for Top Star (a PDF on this page), in our words: Spray the product onto a soft sponge and work it evenly over the surfaces, allow it to dry and, where necessary, wipe over with a microfibre cloth. Check the sheet's warnings before first use, and where this differs from the sheet, follow the sheet.
Do I need to test Top Star first?
Always on a hidden spot first - finishes vary. Never saturate perforated leather, and test coloured hide first. When unsure, send us a photo of the surface on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you open the bottle.
What is the difference between Top Star and Gummifix?
Both are leather & plastics interior, and each has its own technical data sheet setting out how to use it. Top Star starts at LKR 13,400 and Gummifix at LKR 99,850 - if you are unsure, send the job to us on WhatsApp and we will name the right one.
Does this ship island-wide?
Yes, once it is in - this one is on the next container. Pre-order on WhatsApp and it goes out by courier to any district once it lands, or you can collect it in Colombo 07.
