How do I use Motorplast?
From Koch-Chemie's technical data sheet for Motorplast (a PDF on this page), in our words: Using a spray bottle, or preferably the Cyclone, cover the precleaned surface, wet or dry, with a thin, even film and let it dry. Check the sheet's warnings before first use, and where this differs from the sheet, follow the sheet.
Is Motorplast safe on car paint?
Yes on cured clear coat at the recommended dilution, kept wet and rinsed in time. It must never touch brake surfaces or tyre tread.
What is the difference between Motorplast and Plast Star?
Both are rubber & plastics external, and each has its own technical data sheet setting out how to use it. Motorplast starts at LKR 8,900 and Plast Star at LKR 13,500 - if you are unsure, send the job to us on WhatsApp and we will name the right one.
Does this ship island-wide?
Yes, once it is in - this one is on the next container. Pre-order on WhatsApp and it goes out by courier to any district once it lands, or you can collect it in Colombo 07.
