PreWash B

PreWash B is a highly concentrated, highly alkaline precleaner and insect remover for cars, commercial vehicles, construction machines, steel and alkali-resistant. From Koch-Chemie's technical data sheet for PreWash B (a PDF on this page), in our words: Depending on soiling, dilute 1:30 to 1:100 for precleaning or 1:4 to 1:20 for rims, cover the whole surface and rinse off thoroughly with a high-pressure cleaner after a maximum of 1 min. For cleaning washing bays, dilute 1:2 to 1:15. For VDA class B conformity, keep the reaction time to a maximum of 1 min and the application concentration no stronger than 1:100. Check the sheet's warnings before first use, and where this differs from the sheet, follow the sheet.

Yes on cured clear coat at the recommended dilution, kept wet and rinsed in time. It must never touch bare or polished aluminium.
